Kyrgyzstan and Israel mark 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations

A solemn reception was held at the residence of the Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in the State of Israel on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and the State of Israel, as well as on the occasion of the presentation of credentials by Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Israel Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said. The event was attended by Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel Gary Koren, ambassadors accredited in Israel, heads of international and public organizations, business structures, as well as media representatives. In his welcoming speech, Omuraliev informed about the intention of the Kyrgyz side to intensify interstate relations. He briefly said that Kyrgyzstan is making every effort to create a favorable investment climate, and socio-economic transformations are being carried out. He expressed hope that the reached agreements with the Israeli side would contribute to the development of relations between the two countries. In turn, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Gary Koren expressed hope that the appointment of the ambassador will give impetus to mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and reach a new qualitative level. He also noted that the parties will strengthen cooperation in the field of trade and agriculture. Also during the event, videos about Kyrgyzstan and its investment and tourism potential were shown.
