Tajikistan urges further cooperation with Iran
Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhan Zarifi here Tuesday called for further cooperation with Iran in implementing projects to build dams and power stations in his country.
In a meeting with Iranian Energy Minister Seyyed Parviz Fattah, he hoped that his country will benefit from the experience of Iranian experts in dam construction and power station projects.
Fattah, for his part, referred to the history of cooperation between the two countries and expertise of Iranian engineers and said that currently, two Iranian companies are conducting studies on projects in the Central Asian country.
Iranian experts were always successful in implementing projects overseas, he noted.
Zarifi expressed pleasure over his visit to Tehran and called for promoting bilateral ties.
He also underlined the significance of the two countries' political and economic relations.
