Austrian president sends message to Zhaparov on 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between countries

President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen sent a congratulatory message to Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Kyrgyz president’s press service reported. "Relations between our countries over the past 30 years have developed in a very positive and friendly way and are characterized by mutual respect and sympathy. Austria and the Kyrgyz Republic also successfully cooperate in various areas at the multilateral level. Both of our states are members of the Group of Friends of Mountain Countries, initiated by Kyrgyzstan in the framework of the United Nations in New York. Last November a large Austrian delegation led by foreign minister visited your country, with government and business representatives focusing on opportunities for further development of bilateral economic relations. I hope that in the anniversary year we will be able to set the course for further expansion of cooperation between our countries at the political, economic, cultural and personal level through joint efforts," the message reads. Alexander Van der Bellen wished Sadyr Zhaparov personal well-being and a happy and successful future for Kyrgyzstan.
