Akylbek Zhaparov takes part in meeting with Kazakh President Tokayev

Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2022 . / Kabar /. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with heads of government-participants of a regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which is held in Kazakhstan’s Nur-Sultan. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov, who is chairing the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council this year, the press service of the Kyrgyz Cabinet reported. The meeting participants discussed in detail the issues of further strengthening and development of integration processes in the Eurasian space, the need to eliminate existing controversial issues, strengthen cooperation and restore the economies of the member states of the organization in the post-pandemic period. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished the Kyrgyz Republic a successful presidency in the bodies of the Union this year. This year, Kyrgyzstan chairs the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
