OIL PRODUCTION TO REACH 65 000 000 TONS IN COMING YEARS IN AZERBAIJAN, NATIG ALIYEV

Baku, May 25 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan will increase its oil production to 65 000 000 tons in the coming years, Azerbaijan Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev said. Because of some technical reasons, the country could extract only 44, 005 000 tons of oil instead of scheduled 52 000 000 tones in the past year.
”There are some new untouched wells and now works are underway to put them into operation,” the minister added.
