Iraq, Azerbaijan Discuss Political, Economic, Scientific And Cultural Relations Between The Two Countries

Baghdad / NINA / - Iraq and Azerbaijan discussed the political, economic, scientific and cultural relations between the two countries. A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry, Nizar Khairallah, chaired the meetings of the first round of political consultations between the Iraqi and Azerbaijani sides, which were held in Baku, while the Undersecretary of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fariz Razayev, chaired the consultations on his country, and during the meeting, they discussed the development of prospects for bilateral relations in various fields political, economic, scientific and cultural relations between the two countries. The two sides touched on the opportunities available to enhance economic, tourism and trade exchange between the two countries, and find appropriate solutions to all the challenges facing the two countries. They also discussed the depth of the historical relations between the two friendly peoples, as well as cooperation and coordination in the field of multilateral relations, and they discussed developments in the regional and international situation.
