Monument to writer Chyngyz Aitmatov erected in Turkey’s Antalya

Bishkek, Feb. 8, 2022 . / Kabar /. A monument has been erected to Chyngyz Aitmatov in the park named after Kyrgyz writer in Guzeloba neighborhood in Antalya, Turkey. Turkish media reported that a book café was opened next to the park. The opening ceremony was attended by Vice-Mayor of the municipality Huseyin Sarı, adviser to Kyrgyzstan’s culture minister Urmat Usenov, chairman of the Turk Duinosu platform Mustafa Yılmaz and others. Urmat Usenov presented letters of gratitude to all those who contributed to the installation of the monument.
