Sports Committees of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan sign memorandum of cooperation

Osh, Feb. 4, 2022 . / Kabar / . Representatives of the Osh Mayor’s Office’s Committee for Physical Culture and Sports (Kyrgyzstan) paid an official visit to the city of Andijan, Uzbekistan. During the visit, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with the Main Department of Tourism and Sports of Andijan Region. Under the signed memorandum, activities to improve cooperation for the development of national sports, Olympic sports, joint training sessions, competitions and tournaments, exchange of experience between athletes in various sports are planned. In the course of the meeting, Chairman of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the Osh Mayor’s Office Bekdoolot Abakirov and Head of the Main Department of Tourism and Sports of Andijan Region, Deputy Head of Andijan Region Azizbek Maksumov agreed to strengthen bilateral relations for the development of sports. The events included visits to a number of sports facilities.
