AZERI MPS ADDRESS SPRING SESSION OF NATO PA
Baku, May 24 (AzerTAc). Siyavush Novruzov, member of the Azerbaijan Delegation to the NATO Palriamentary Assembly addressed the assembly`s spring session, which started May 22 in Oslo, Norway.
MP Malahat Hasanov spoke at the session dealing with violence against women during and after conflicts. She said civilians suffered as a result of Armenia`s agression against Azerbaijan with the majority of them being women and children. Hasanova reported on the statistics on human and infrastructure losses Azerbaijan faced during the conflict.
The Azerbaijan delegation to NATO PA led by First Milli Majlis Speaker Ziyafet Asgarov includes MPs Siyavush NOVruzov, Malahat Hasanov, Gudret Hasanguliyev and Tahir Suleymanov.
