Kyrgyzstan’s tally of coronavirus cases reaches 197,437

Bishkek, Jan. 28, 2022. / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan reported 356 new cases of coronavirus on Friday, pushing the nationwide tally of infections to 197,437. The press service of the country’s Health Ministry reported that of the new cases identified, 216 were registered in the capital city of Bishkek. Number of those cured of the disease now stands at 185,771 as 604 more Kyrgyzstanis were reported to have recovered in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 5 new virus-associated deaths were recorded across Kyrgyzstan, bringing the total number of fatalities to 2,867. As of today, treatment in hospitals of Kyrgyzstan is provided to 1,104 patients, while 6,180 people are being treated at home.
