President Stresses The Need To Exert Maximum Efforts To Defuse Crises And Support Dialogue

Baghdad / NINA / - The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, stressed the need to exert maximum efforts to defuse crises in the region, and support dialogue paths to resolve existing differences, reduce tensions and prevent escalation. During his meeting today, Thursday, with Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio, Salih discussed the close relations that unite the two countries, the joint endeavor to strengthen them in various fields, and joint bilateral cooperation in facing various challenges, especially those related to combating terrorism and extremism, strengthening economic and cultural relations, and facing the repercussions risks of climate change and environmental protection.
