EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF STATE OIL FUND MEETS CHAIRMAN OF SWISS NATIONAL BANK
Baku, May 21 (AzerTAc). Executive Director of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan Shahmar Movsumov has met here today with Jean-Pierre Roth Chairman of the Swiss National Bank.
Movsumov briefed Roth on Fund`s activity, assets management, application of Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative in Azerbaijan.
Jean-Pierre Roth praised Fund`s accomplishments in ensuring transparency and applying EITI and congratulated Movsumov that Azerbaijan became the first country to secure a full-fledged member status in this area.
Discussion also dealt with the situation in the world financial markets, economic reforms in Azerbaijan, role of oil sector in Azerbaijan, impact of oil revenues and other issues.
