Kyrgyzstan offers India joint drug production

Bishkek, Dec. 20, 2021. / Kabar /. The Third Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the India-Central Asia Dialogue with the participation of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev took place in New Delhi on Dec. 19, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.
Speaking at the meeting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan noted the importance of improving communications between the Central Asian countries with India for expanding trade and economic cooperation, as well as developing partnerships and simplifying trade procedures between the countries participating in the dialogue.
At the same time, the importance of the development of medical tourism was emphasized, as well as the need to open official representative offices of the leading hospitals and clinics of India in the countries of Central Asia so that medical tourists could get direct access to timely diagnosis and further quality treatment.
In this context, the significant potential of the Kyrgyz Republic to create joint ventures for the production of medicines, which will meet both the needs of the Central Asian region and the CIS and EAEU countries, was noted.
Thus, in order to strengthen and expand the institutional base of the India-Central Asia dialogue, the Kyrgyz minister initiated the creation of additional expert platforms with the participation of the relevant ministries and departments of the CA countries and the India-CA dialogue Secretariat.
Given the global importance of reducing carbon emissions into the atmosphere and developing green renewable energy sources, it was noted that the Kyrgyz Republic sets itself the goal of achieving carbon neutrality and has begun to stimulate the development of green technologies, the construction of hydroelectric power plants and renewable energy sources by providing preferential tariff regimes for potential investors, the report said.
