Bishkek hosting friendly tournament dedicated to 100th anniversary of Kyrgyz football

A team of the Presidential Administration, led by President Sadyr Zhaparov is taking part in a friendly tournament dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Kyrgyz football. The event was organized on the initiative of the Kyrgyz Football Union. Opening the tournament, the Kyrgyz leader stressed that the main purpose of today's event is to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Kyrgyz football, as well as the desire to attract the attention of young people to the sport by playing with veterans of football. Thus, to contribute to the popularization and development of sports in the country and a healthy lifestyle. President Sadyr Zhaparov wished that the strongest would win and urged the tournament participants to play without pitying each other. "Let's show our strength, our experience. The main thing is to have a fair and just game. May the strongest win," Sadyr Zhaparov said. Six teams play in the soccer tournament: the Presidential Administration, veterans of national soccer, the media, representatives of sports federations, the business community and cultural figures.
