Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency: 78 hectares of liberated territory cleared from mines and UXOs

Baku, December 13, AZERTAC “During the mine-clearing operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Shusha, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts from December 6 to 11, nine anti-personnel and 29 anti-tank mines, as well as 262 unexploded ordnances (UXO) were found and neutralized,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement. “As a result, 78,3 hectares have been cleared of mines and UXOs,” the agency added.
