EX-PRESIDENT OF ESTONIA ARNOLD RUUTEL VISITS AZERBAIJAN NATIONAL MUSEUM OF HISTORY
Baku, May 19 (AzerTAc). Former Estonian President Arnold Ruutel has visited today the Azerbaijan National History Museum here.
Ruutel was informed about the history of the museum.
The Azerbaijan National Museum of History is a storehouse of exhibits beginning from the ancient period up to the present time.
Founded in 1920 the museum used to be a mansion of Azerbaijani oil magnate and philanthropist Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev in 1895-1897.
On the display in the museum are more than 300 000 exhibits, as well as historical documents, valuable belongings and photos depicting Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev.
