Kyrgyzstan confirms 74 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Nov. 3, 2021 / Kabar /. 74 new cases were reported in Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday, bringing the total to 181,499, with 1,408 cases in the active stage. 605 of the active cases are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 803 patients are being treated at home, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said. A total of 175,892 people have been successfully cured and discharged from hospitals so far, out of which 97 were discharged during the past 24 hours. The headquarters also reported 2 new deaths, raising the death toll from the infectious virus to 2,676. Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccine jabs on March 29 using China-donated vaccine. To date, a total of 990,734 people have received their first vaccine shots against COVID-19, while 764,229 have taken both doses.
