Akylbek Japarov: Economic development of Batken Oblast is of strategic importance

"The development of the economy of Batken Oblast is of strategic importance. As you know, the law on the special status of Batken Oblast and the Development Program were adopted, and the Action Plan was approved. For its part, the state provides benefits in the form of a special tax regime for entrepreneurs working in the border zones. In addition, a special investment regime was introduced - the Cabinet of Ministers provides state guarantees for investments and a full amnesty for investors in Batken Oblast is planned. The allowed threshold of direct state procurement will increase from KGS 2 to 5 million. These regimes are the best time to invest in Batken these days, including for local entrepreneurs.
