Kyrgyz FM, secretary general of Gulf Cooperation Council hold meeting

Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry’s press service reported. Minister Kazakbaev took part in a working meeting of foreign ministers of Central Asian states on the margins of the 6th ministerial meeting of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia in Nur-Sultan and met with Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab countries of the Gulf Nayef Falah Al-Hajraff. The meeting was also attended by Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, the foreign minister of Bahrain, the country currently presiding over the Council. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the development of inter-regional cooperation in the political, trade and economic, tourism and investment fields. The initiative to establish a new dialogue platform in Central Asia - Gulf Cooperation Council format was also considered and discussed.
