Embassy of Kyrgyzstan officially opened in Hungary

Bishkek, Oct. 5, 2021 . / Kabar / . An official opening ceremony of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Hungary was held on Monday as part of the official visit of Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev to Hungary. The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto, representatives of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (CCTS) Office in Hungary, Honorary Consul of Kyrgyzstan in Hungary Endre Erdos, as well as citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic studying in Hungarian universities. During the opening ceremony of Kyrgyz Embassy in Hungary, Kazakbaev expressed gratitude to the Hungarian side and the foreign minister of Hungary for support and assistance in the opening of the embassy. The opening of the embassy is a historic event in the development of bilateral relations between the two countries. The foreign minister of Kyrgyzstan also informed about the planned opening of the precinct at the Kyrgyz Embassy in Hungary in connection with the upcoming parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan on Nov. 28, 2021. Ruslan Kazakbaev noted the successful development of the strategic partnership with Hungary and the holding of the 1st meeting of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Strategic Council on Oct. 4 this year. In addition, next year the Kyrgyz Republic and Hungary will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, and a number of joint activities are planned in this regard.
