Kyrgyzstan’s Batken Oblast to host investment forum

Bishkek, Sept. 29, 2021. / Kabar / . An investment forum entitled “Development of Batken - Development of the Country" will take place in Batken Oblast of Kyrgyzstan on Oct. 13 under the leadership of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov, the International Business Council reported with the reference to the Ministry of Investment of the republic. The event will become a platform for public-private dialogue, where financial institutions of Kyrgyzstan will present mechanisms of financing of investment projects, and international experts will hold practical seminars for domestic entrepreneurs. The forum participants will discuss the conditions of loan guarantees for projects, creation of a logistics center for apricot processing, the concept of development of the oblast on the basis of a pilot business ecosystem and many other issues related to the development of Batken Oblast. The construction project of a hotel in Batken and a logistics center in Isfana will also be presented.
