Iran, Republic of Congo ink MoU on agriculture cooperation
Iran and the Republic of Congo signed a memorandum of understanding on Saturday on cooperation in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry and processing industries.
The agreement signed by Iran's Agriculture Jihad Minister Mohammad Reza Eskandari and his Congolese counterpart, Rigobert Maboundou seeks to develop cooperation in agriculture, animal husbandry, agriculture mechanization and research.
Based on the agreement, it was also agreed that a joint specialized committee be set up to pursue the implementation of the MoU.
The agreement will be in force for five years and is to be extended on the consent of both sides.
