Azerbaijan documents 1,356 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

Baku, September 23, AZERTAC 1,356 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Azerbaijan, while 2,651 patients have been recovered in the past 24 hours, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told AZERTAC. According to the Task Force, 17 persons have died after testing positive for COVID-19. “The overall confirmed cases in Azerbaijan have reached 476,409 with 441,731 recoveries and 6,370 deaths, while treatment of 28,308 others is underway. A total of 4,778,393 coronavirus tests have been conducted in the country so far,” the Task Force added.
