Number of COVID-19 cases decreased by 3.1 times in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2021 . / Kabar / . A decrease in the number of coronavirus cases is observed in Kyrgyzstan, the National Statistics Committee of the republic reported Friday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Social Development, the number of laboratory and clinic-epidemiologically confirmed cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has decreased from 22.6 thousand cases in June to 12.1 thousand cases in August this year.
In August this year, the biggest share of registered cases of coronavirus infection was in Bishkek (51%) and Chui Oblast (more than 17%).
The number of diseased per 100 thousand people in August this year decreased by 3,1 times in comparison with July and by 1,9 times – with June.
Kyrgyzstan’s tally of COVID-19 infections stands at 177,567 along with 172,015 recoveries and 2,583 deaths.
