Kyrgyzstan’s parliamentary elections. 57 polling stations formed abroad

Bishkek, Sept. 16, 2021 . / Kabar / . The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kyrgyzstan decided to establish 57 polling stations abroad in order to ensure conditions for Kyrgyzstanis living or staying abroad to exercise their voting rights at Nov. 28 elections to Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament of Kyrgyzstan).
The CEC website provides a list of polling stations outside Kyrgyzstan.
Thus, polling stations are opened in the Kyrgyz Embassy in Russia, the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Yekaterinburg, the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Novosibirsk, the Embassies of Kyrgyzstan in Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan , Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Canada, Great Britain, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Turkey, the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Istanbul, the Kyrgyz Embassy in China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait, the State of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Pakistan, Italy, France, as well as in the cities of New York, Tomsk, Krasnodar and Chicago.
Parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan will be held on Nov. 28, 2021.
In accordance with the amendments made to the constitutional Law "On elections of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic", it is envisaged to conduct parliamentary elections by a mixed electoral system.
Thus, 54 deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh will elected according to a proportional system and 36 deputies are elected according to the majoritarian system.
According to Kyrgyzstan’s CEC, 3,686,921 voters are registered in the preliminary voter list for Nov. 28 parliamentary elections.
