Organic products from Kyrgyzstan presented at Int’l Expo in South Korea

Bishkek, Sept. 15, 2021 . / Kabar / . The International Wild Ginseng Anti-Aging EXPO opened in South Korea on Sept. 10 with participants from 13 countries, including Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy reported that the EXPO is taking place in the city of Hamyang, the birthplace of wild ginseng, and will continue until Oct.10. The official opening ceremony was attended by Korean Prime Minister Kim Bu-gyom, Acting Governor of Gyeongnam Ha Byung-pil, Hamyan Mayor Seo Chunsoo, deputies of the South Korean National Assembly, and ambassadors of five countries, including Kyrgyzstan's Ambassador to Korea Dinara Kemelova. As part of the EXPO, the flag of Kyrgyzstan was raised and products of Kyrgyzstan were exhibited, including honey, dried fruits, dried berries, as well as items of applied art of the Kyrgyz Republic. Thus, the National Day of Kyrgyzstan is planned to take place on Oct. 4, during which celebrations are scheduled, including a concert with the Kyrgyz diaspora, presentation of export, investment and tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan.
