Kyrgyz FM meets with CSTO Secretary General

Bishkek, Sept. 1, 2021 / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Stanislav Zas. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that traditionally in a friendly and trusting atmosphere, a thorough exchange of views took place on improving and strengthening the potential of the CSTO, as well as other issues of the current activities of the Organization. Zas briefed about the situation in the CSTO area of ​​responsibility and the course of preparations for the joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers and the next session of the CSTO Collective Security Council, scheduled for September this year in Dushanbe. Kazakbaev expressed interest in effective and mutually beneficial cooperation of the Kyrgyz Republic within the CSTO in all areas, taking into account mutual interests.
