Kyrgyz president awards athletes-participants of Summer Olympics

Bishkek, Aug. 23, 2021. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov presented state awards to the winners of the 32nd Olympic Games held in Tokyo, Japan. Athletes from Kyrgyzstan won 3 medals - 2 silver and 1 bronze. The president sincerely congratulated the athletes on their worthy performance at the Olympic Games and noted that they showed the highest skill, showed the best volitional qualities. The president presented the Order of Manas II degree to Aisuluu Tynybekova (silver), Akzhol Mahmudov (silver) and the head coach of the Kyrgyz women's wrestling team Nurbek Izabekov. In addition, he presented a monetary reward of KGS 10 million to two silver medalists, and to coach Izabekov KGS 8 million 150 thousand. Meerim Zhumanazarova, who won a bronze medal, was awarded the Order of Manas III degree and received KGS 7 million. The head of state personally presented the three prize-winners with Toyota RAV4 cars. The other participants of the Olympic Games also received prizes, Certificates of Honor and Letters of Thanks.
