897 new coronavirus cases identified in Kyrgyzstan in past day

Bishkek, Aug. 2, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan reported on Monday 897 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection, taking the nationwide tally to 164,173. According to the latest report from the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, number of recoveries has climbed to 147,377 after 1,316 patients were reported to have cured of the disease in the past day. In addition, the HQ reported coronavirus has killed 9 more Kyrgyzstanis. Thus, a total of 2,344 people died in Kyrgyzstan since the outbreak of the virus. As of today, 3,779 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals, and 9,913 compatriots are being treated at home.
