Kyrgyzstan’s women's wrestling team leaves for Tokyo Olympics

Kyrgyzstan’s Olympic team athletes Aisuluu Tynybekova, Aiperi Medet kyzy and Meerim Zhumanazarova have left for Tokyo, the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of republic said Wednesday. Deputy Director of the Directorate of Olympic Sports under the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports Alibek Tashmatov and curator of the wrestling department Azamat Bekmurzayev escorted the national athletes to the Olympics. Thus, Aiperi Medet kyzy will be the first to perform on the main sporting event. Her bout is scheduled for Aug. 1 at 8:00 a.m. Meerim Zhumanazarova will compete for the medal on Aug. 2 at 8:30 a.m., and Aisuluu Tynybekova will perform on Aug. 3 at 08:30 a.m.
