China Affirms Its Support For The Security And Unity Of Iraq And For The Upcoming Electoral Process

Baghdad / NINA / - China affirmed its support for the security and unity of Iraq and for the upcoming electoral process. A Foreign Ministry statement said today that the Ministry's Senior Undersecretary, Nizar Al-Khairallah, met the Chinese Ambassador Zhang Tao, and the two sides reviewed the most important steps taken by the two countries to implement the ideas and visions that were put forward in the political consultations between the two countries' foreign ministries that were held recently. For his part, the Chinese ambassador stressed the need for continuous coordination for the purpose of developing relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them, pointing to his country's continued support for the security and unity of Iraq and the upcoming electoral process, and standing side by side to confront the Covid-19, and combat terrorism and extremism.
