Continuous showers expected in most parts of the country

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Showers are expected to continue in most parts of the country this week, with a slight drop in temperatures. More specifically, showers and thunderstorms are expected in some parts of western and Gobi aimags, and in most parts of central and eastern aimags on June 29 and 30, in the eastern region on July 1, in the northern region on July 2 and 3, and in mountainous areas and the eastern region on July 4 and 5. With temperatures dropping in most parts of the country from today, in the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentii, in the head of Zavkhan, near Khurenbelchir, and in the basins of Baidrag, Ider, Tes, and Terelj rivers, the temperature will range from -3 to +2 degrees Celsius during the night, and +11 to +16 during the day. In the southern Gobi region, the night-time temperature will be +11 to +16 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +22 to +27 degrees Celsius. In other areas, temperatures are expected to be +5 to +10 during the night, and +16 to +21 during the day.
