Vietnamese humanitarian association debuts in Germany
Berlin (VNA) - A humanitarian association of overseas Vietnamese residing in Berlin made its debut in the capital city of Germany on May 10.
Nearly 50 members of the "Thien Tu Tam" association have been donating
money to the association since 2007, which so far has bought 88 wheelchairs
for Agent Orange/dioxin victims and disabled people in Vietnam 's northern
provinces of Thai Binh, Hai Duong and Ha Nam .
The association has also financed heart surgeries for poor children and the
building and upgrading of schools in remote and mountainous areas.
In addition, the association organises cultural and sports activities for
the overseas Vietnamese community in Germany.-Enditem
