Greece eager to boost parliamentary ties with Iran
Chairman of Greek Parliamentary Committee of Defense and Foreign Affairs said Monday her country is willing to strengthen parliamentary cooperation with Iran.
Kanellopoulou Krinio made the remarks in a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Greece Mehdi Honar-Doust.
She added that the two countries enjoy rich civilization and culture, stressing that appropriate grounds have been prepared for further expansion of all-out cooperation between the two states.
The Iranian ambassador, for his part, expressed hope that expansion of Tehran-Athens parliamentary relations would lead to further promotion of all-out ties between the two states.
