Yemen keen to boost technical ties with Iran
Yemeni Minister of Electricity Awadh al-Saqtari on Monday called for expansion of technical cooperation with Iran.
In a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Yemen Mahmoud Hassan-Alizadeh, al-Saqtari announced his readiness to travel to Tehran to review expansion of economic ties with senior Iranian officials.
Meanwhile, Hassan-Alizadeh briefed the Yemeni official on Iran’s electricity potentials and voiced readiness of the Iranian companies to actively participate in development projects in Yemen.
