Passengers from swine flu flight found
All passengers from the flight that carried the only Australian to have swine flu
have been traced, Queensland authorities say.
The 28-year-old Sydney woman arrived in Brisbane on Thursday from Los Angeles, and
has since been cleared of the potentially deadly virus.
Twelve Queensland passengers from the same flight have been contacted.
Seven interstate passengers have been tracked down and will be contacted by
authorities in their states.
All will be told to contact a GP or emergency department if they experience flu
symptoms.
A spokesman for Queensland Health said two people with suspected cases of swine flu
were awaiting test results in Queensland.
Queensland Health says staff at Queensland's three international airports at
Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Cairns remain on hand to screen passengers arriving on
international flights.
At Brisbane, just two passengers from 15 flights were screened on Monday but neither
was swabbed.
Three international flights came into the Gold Coast and four arrived in Cairns -
but no passengers were screened or swabbed.
