Iran carrying out tens of economic projects in Iraq: Qashqavi
Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi here on Monday stressed that Iran is carrying out tens of economic projects in Iraq.
Talking to reporters during his weekly press briefing, he said Tehran is interested in settlement of peace and stability in the neighboring Iraq.
As to the US approach regarding the occupied Iraq, he said after the US policies failed in the region, Washington tried to put the blame on others.
Asked about a comparison made by certain Egyptian publications between the Iranian peaceful nuclear program and the Israeli atomic activities, he said such a comparison is not correct.
He reiterated that Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mohamed ElBaradei has repeatedly announced that there has been no ambiguity in Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities while the Zionist regime’s prime minister had confessed that the regime had 200 nuclear warheads.
