Yemeni deputy foreign minister in Tehran for talks
Yemeni Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Muthana Hassan heading a delegation arrived in Tehran on Sunday to attend 4th Iran-Yemen Joint Political Commission meeting.
At the airport, the Yemeni official and his entourage were welcomed by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Sheikholeslam.
The 4th Iran-Yemen Joint Political Commission meeting is to explore ways of bolstering relations between the two countries.
The commission holds regular meetings at the foreign ministerial level to help promote political, cultural and economic cooperation between the two countries and review regional, international issues including those pertaining to the Muslim world.
