Iran MP criticizes UK, Saudi Arabia for Iranophobia project

A senior member of Iranian parliament criticized the recent Iranophobia projects undertaken by the UK and Saudi Arabia.

Spokesman for the parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Kazem Jalali blasted Britain's stand on Iran’s nuclear program as well as Saudi Arabia’s measure to fingerprint Iranian pilgrims and said such measures facilitated the Iranophobia project hatched by Israel.

He said Majlis would make strategic decisions on this issue in due time.

He expressed wonder over the real motivation behind Saudi Arabia’s anti-Iranian action, describing it as “an inappropriate measure.”

The parliamentarian also warned certain Arab states “not to act as a puppet in Israel's hands” and said such countries should remember Iran's powerful position in both world and the region.
