Kyrgyzstan takes part in emergency meeting of OIC Executive Committee on situation in Palestine

Bishkek, May 17, 2021 . / Kabar / . Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Azizbek Madmarov took part in an emergency ministerial meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on the situation in Palestine. The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that the virtual meeting took place on the initiative of Turkey and several Arab states. Foreign ministers of OIC member state, observer states and organizations took part in the meeting via videoconference. The participants discussed the current situation in Palestine, and at the end of the meeting adopted a resolution urging the UN and the world community to take effective measures to end the conflict and urgent efforts to improve the humanitarian situation.
