Zhaparov instructs to modernize Golovnoi water intake where Kyrgyz-Tajik conflict began

Bishkek, May 7, 2021 . / Kabar /. Kygryz President Sadyr Zhaparov visited on Thursday the Buzhum military training ground and the Golovnoi water intake facility located on Ak-Suu river near the Kyrgyz-Tajik border in Batken Oblast. The head of state toured the area and the site where the water intake is located and the military unit guarding the facility, his press service reported. As a result of the visit, President Zhaparov instructed the relevant state bodies to modernize the technical condition of the water intake. During his visit to the Buzhum military training ground, the president addressed the military, noting that the state would fulfill all of its social obligations to the Armed Forces, and that the country's leadership would continue to pay special attention to the existing issues of the power structures.
