Iran's First Vice President arrives in South Africa

Iran’s First Vice President Parviz Davoudi arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa, early Saturday.

Upon the arrival, Davoudi was welcomed by the country’s Minister of Public Services and Administration.

Davoudi is in South Africa to participate in the inauguration ceremony of South Africa's new President Jacob Zuma which is to be held in the capital city of Pretoria on Sunday.

He is also to meet with senior officials of South Africa and hold talks with officials from other participating countries.

Heading a ranking delegation, Davoudi arrived in South Africa at the first leg of his three-nation African tour which will also take him to Tanzania and Zanzibar.
