Deputy FM of Turkmenistan expresses condolences to Kyrgyzstan on behalf of President Berdimuhamedov

Bishkek, May 4, 2021. / Kabar /. The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkmenistan was visited by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Berdyniyaz Myatiev, who left an entry in the Book of Condolences, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Berdyniyaz Myatiev visited the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Ashgabat on May3 and left an entry in the Book of Condolences, opened in connection with the announcement of May 1-2, 2021 as days of national mourning in memory of the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who became victims of the armed conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border. The report said that Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Berdyniyaz Myatiev conveyed words of deep condolences to individuals and families affected by the armed conflict on behalf of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov. Expressing hope for a peaceful resolution of the conflict situation and not a repetition of such tragic events in the future, Myatiev noted the sincere interest of the Turkmen side in maintaining peace and tranquility in the Central Asian region. Representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in the city of Ashgabat, including Kyrgyz compatriots, expressed their condolences and left relevant entries in the Book of Condolences.
