Saudi Students in S. Korea hold First Meeting

Seoul, South Korea, May 08, SPA -- Saudi students on scholarships in
South Korea held here today their first meeting. The meeting was held
in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to South Korea Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz Al-Aifan.

During the meeting, a speech was delivered by the Saudi Cultural
Attaché in South Korea Dr. Turki Al Ayyar in which he stressed the
importance of such meetings for students' progress in terms of
learning as well as a platform where they can freely express their
concerns.

Afterwards, a speech was given by Al-Aifan in which he highlighted
the enormous efforts exerted by the Saudi government to enhance the
education sector in the Kingdom as well as the successes of King
Abdullah Scholarship Program.

He also added that the launch of the Saudi Cultural Department in
Seoul would serve as impetus for students abroad to focus on
achieving more in their learning process.
