Kyrgyzstan’s Osh and Uzbekistan’s Namangan Oblasts to cooperate in tourism

Tashkent, April 27, 2021. / Kabar /. The delegation headed by director of Osh Oblast development fund and deputy chairman of the Osh region tourism development council Abdulkadyr Aliyev paid a working visit to Namangan Oblast of Uzbekistan. During the visit of the delegation, B2B negotiations were held between the coordinator of the GIZ project, the heads of large travel companies "Osh Travel", "Pamir-Alay", "Destination Osh", "EcoDom", "Sanrays", "Muzbulak Travel" with entrepreneurs in the Namangan region. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the territorial administration for tourism development of Namangan and the Tourism Development Council of Osh . Representatives of the tourism business of the two countries have signed over 20 agreements. Within the framework of this cooperation, projects for the development of interregional tourism in Namangan and Osh oblasts will be implemented. The members of the delegation visited the Anamed diagnostic center in Namangan, the Youth Convent of Enlightenment, the Afsonalar Vodyisi theme park, as well as the resting place of Sultan Uvais Karani in Chartak region.
