Opening of first int’l business forum of women of Kyrgyzstan and India held in Bishkek

Bishkek, April 22, 2021. / Kabar / . Bishkek hosted on Wednesday an official opening of the first international business forum of women of Kyrgyzstan and India. The press service of the capital’s Mayor’s Office reported that the forum was organized within the framework of an initiative of the Kyrgyz Embassy in India and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). "Deputy mayor of the capital Aizhan Chynybayeva noted the uniqueness of creating such a permanent women's forum, which will become a platform for expanding business cooperation and networking between the cities of the two countries," the report said. In addition, two memorandums of understanding were signed between the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Congress of Women of Kyrgyzstan, and the “Women’s Forum Kurak” Public Association. At the end of the virtual meeting, the Indian side expressed readiness to cooperate for further implementation and to discuss in detail projects in the field of women's entrepreneurship with the Kyrgyz side.
