AZERBAIJANI AND CANADIAN SCIENTISTS TO CONDUCT JOINT RESEARCHES
Baku, May 8 (AzerTAc). “Azerbaijani and Canadian scientists are keen to conduct the joint researches” said dean of the University of Waterloo's Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science Thomas Coleman during his visit to ANAS Institute of Information Technologies together with the president of Canada-Azerbaijan Partnership Association, Waterloo University professor Ilham Akhundov.
He said the aim of the visit is to familiarize themselves with the state programs, projects and other documents implemented in the field of education and science and discuss cooperation issues.
In his turn, ITI director, ANAS member Rasim Aliguliyev informed the guests about the history and activity of the structure. He also updated the guest on the works done in the field of state program “Electronic-Azerbaijan” and projects jointly implemented by the local and International organizations.
