Potential of tourism in Issyk-Kul presented at international exhibition in Yekaterinburg

Bishkek, April 16, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz tourism companies are participating in the SUMMER-2021 international exhibition in Yekaterinburg, the press service of the Tourism Department under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. Kyrgyzstan takes part as an honorary exhibitor with the status of a participant of the region-partner of Issyk-Kul region at the largest International Tourism Exhibition SUMMER-2021 in Yekaterinburg from April 16 to 17, 2021. Kyrgyzstan participates in this exhibition in order to develop the tourism sector of the Kyrgyz Republic. The participation of the Kyrgyz delegation in the tourism exhibition provides an opportunity for the development of tourism in Kyrgyzstan in the international market. Today, about 100,000 enterprises in the field of tourism operate in the republic, of which 500 tourism and recreation enterprises operate in Issyk-Kul region, as well as 35 sanatoriums. In the new conditions, recreational institutions, medical and prophylactic health resorts are ready to receive tourists this year. More than 150 exhibitors from different regions of Russia, foreign countries, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps take part in the tourism exhibition.
