Latvian companies interested in restoration of Azerbaijani liberated lands - embassy

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Apr. 6 By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend: Latvian companies have expressed interest in taking part in construction and restoration of Azerbaijani lands liberated from Armenian occupation, Deputy Head of Latvian Mission in Azerbaijan Vija Buša told Trend. The Latvian Embassy, together with partners in Riga, is currently working to inform Latvian companies about the process of rebuilding recovered sites, the embassy official said. The information provided to Latvian companies covers the creation of green energy zones, the construction of infrastructure and new airports, the design of buildings and buildings, as well as the restoration of history and cultural monuments. “We have already received interest from the Latvian companies and business proposals in the fields such as construction and restoration. The Embassy is following the development processes and trying to find out possible cooperation forms in the restoration work of the liberated territories,” the official said. Following over a month of military action to liberate its territories from Armenian occupation from late Sept. to early Nov. 2020, Azerbaijan has pushed Armenia to sign the surrender document. A joint statement on the matter was made by the Azerbaijani president, Armenia's PM, and the president of Russia.
