Kyrgyz deputy minister of culture takes part in 41st meeting of ISESCO Executive Council online

Bishkek, April 1, 2021 / Kabar /. Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Saltanat Amanova took part in the 41st meeting of the Executive Council of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) online. During the session, Amanova expressed gratitude to ISESCO for the active support of the Kyrgyz Republic in preserving and promoting the historical and cultural heritage of the country, and also supported the accepted projects of the ISESCO Young Professionals Program and the Model Statute of the National Commission of ISESCO Member States, noting the importance of working out a mechanism for the selection of young professionals from the member states of the Organization and quotas of places in the structure of the Organization within the framework of the adopted Program. During the session, the participating countries of the Organization discussed the results of ISESCO's activities in 2019 and 2020 in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, projects in each of the sectors of UNESCO's activities, heard reports on changes and adoption of a new organizational structure of the central bodies of ISESCO and the effectiveness of the activities of regional divisions and centers. Based on the results of the work of the Executive Council, the final Report and the Decision of the 41st session of the ISESCO Executive Committee were adopted.
